The Hotel Borovnik is a traditional building situated on the island of Murter, overlooking the coast, 20 kilometres from the Kornati islands. The hotel's 63 guestrooms have views of the sea, pool or backyard, and feature light decor with matching furnishings. All offer air conditioning, pine wood dressers, coffee tables, satellite television, direct dial phones and minibars.
The hotel's restaurant, the Borovnik � la Carte Restaurant, offers authentic Dalmatian specialities, and features marble floors and live music performed regularly. A complimentary welcome drink is offered to all guests, and there is a private beach with a bar that serves soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, while relaxing massage treatments with aromatherapy can be arranged in guestrooms upon request. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can recommend places to visit and arrange excursions, as well as store valuables in the safe deposit box. Bike, scooter and boat rentals are also available, and there is free parking for those arriving by car. The hotel's beach is 500 metres away, and excursions can be organised to the Kornati Islands and the River Krka waterfalls. Rafting on the Cetina River can also be arranged. The Jakov ibenik Cathedral is 30 kilometres from the hotel, and the famous beach resort of Dubrovnik is 200 kilometres from the hotel. Zadar Airport is 60 kilometres (37 miles) from the hotel, approximately 60 minutes drive.

Buses are available from the airport and travel to Zadar. Taxis are also available at the airport. A good way to explore the surrounding area is by bicycle, though a car is recommended for visiting the area's National Parks.
