The Pizza della Repubblica and the Church of San Lorenzo are 800 meters from the hotel. San Lorenzo Market, the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery are all within a kilometer of the hotel. Hotel Features. Steeped in history and with a secluded, patio garden at its center, the Hotel Rivoli occupies a 15th century Franciscan monastery. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby where the 24 hour front desk offers tour advice and travel reservations. Hot and cold buffet breakfasts are served daily in the monastery's refectory decorated with vaulted ceilings, stone columns, exposed beams and original dark wood furniture. The patio garden features a 20 meter heated hot tub, with dressing rooms and showers, that is available year round.
