Its eye catching pink fa�ade facing the sea, El Fuerte Hotel is set in 4,000 square meters of subtropical gardens just meters from the sandy beach, 200 meters from Marbella center. The air conditioned guestrooms feature traditional style dark wood furniture, with soft colored fabrics and paintwork. All rooms have private bathrooms with hairdryers, televisions, telephones and minibars.
The outdoor pool nestles among the hotel's 4000 square meters of subtropical gardens and is surrounded by sun terraces. Guests have full access to the hotel's well equipped fitness center, which has an indoor lap pool, gym with body building and cardiovascular equipment, sauna and steam room. A wide range of fitness classes is on offer, including spinning, aerobics, stretching and aqua gym, and beauty therapy treatments and massages are also available. Guests can sample traditional Spanish dishes in the restaurant, dine alfresco on the vine covered terrace, and enjoy leisurely drinks and cocktails in the bar until late. Gala diners with live music take place every week. The hotel has a conference room and operates a round the clock front desk service. There is a gift shop selling postcards and souvenirs and on site parking is charge at a daily rate. The shops, bars and restaurants of Marbella town center are just 200 meters from the hotel. The bus station and La Canada shopping center are within two kilometers. Puerto Banus, with its glamorous boutiques and harbor, is six kilometers away. The nearest airport is Malaga, which is 55 kilometers and about a 45 minute drive from central Marbella. A shuttle service runs between the airport and Marbella. Otherwise, scheduled bus services leave from Malaga main bus station. Train and buses leave the airport for central Malaga every 30 minutes. Taxis are also available and cost around 50 EUR to the hotel.
